Lloyds Banking Group PLC Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the Lloyds Group Banking AGM. It's great to be here with you in person. When we started planning, we weren't sure whether a physical event like this would be possible, so I'm very glad to be speaking to you this morning and grateful to you for joining.
Thank you, in particular, for those of you who have traveled in to be with us and those watching on the live stream. I'm Robin Budenberg and I've been Group Chair since January, having joined the Board in October last year. So this is my first AGM with the group.
Today's event follows our virtual shareholder event last week, where we provided an update on our progress in 2020 and our priorities for 2021 before answering shareholders' questions.
We will follow a similar format today with 3 verbal updates from myself as Chair; William Chalmers as Interim Group Chief Executive; and Sara Weller as Chair of the Responsible Business Committee. We will then have time for questions at the end, getting through as many as we can
