Microchip Technology Inc at Credit Suisse Technology, Media & Telecom Conference Transcript
Why don't we go ahead and get started. I'd like to welcome everyone to the first keynote session on this Wednesday morning. For those in the audience that are veterans of the conference, all of you know that Microchip and Steve, specifically, have been big supporters of the conference over the years, to which we're very appreciative. It's my pleasure this morning to introduce Steve Sanghi, who's the CEO of Microchip and also Ganesh Moorthy, who's the President and COO.
I asked Steve this year to actually do a keynote presentation. I think it was the first time in a while that we've had Steve up here as a keynote, and there was really 2 reasons behind it. First, we're all confused about where we are in the cycle. And as much as Steve wants to get out of the business of actually being the guy that calls the cycle, he's got one of the better track records among CEOs, both up and down and a lot of credibility.
